Present:

Mr. J.S. Bhinder, Advocate for the petitioners. HARINDER SINGH SIDHU, J Petitioner No.1, who is daughter-in-law of respondent No.4 and her daughter have come up with this petition seeking protection of their life and liberty at the hands of respondent Nos.4 & 5. It is stated that husband of petitioner No.1 (son of respondent No.4) died about two years back. Thereafter, respondent No.4 transferred 20 kanals of land in the name of the petitioners. Petitioner No.1 had instituted a civil suit for permanent injunction restraining the respondents from interfering in the peaceful use of electric motor connection installed in the land, which has been transferred in her name. Said civil suit is pending. Grievance of the petitioners is that respondent Nos.4 & 5 along with some unknown persons even went to the parental house of petitioner No.

1 where she is presently residing and threatened her to withdraw the civil suit or else she would face serious consequence. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners have already submitted a representation dated 01.07.2021 (P.3) amongst others to respondent Nos.2 & 3 but no action thereon has been taken so far.
