Petitioners Lakhwinder Singh and Harjit Kaur have come up in this civil writ petition under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India seeking mandamus for issuing directions to the official respondents to protect the life and personal liberty of the petitioners. However, it is made clear that this will not come in the way of implementation of any legal legitimate order by the competent authority.
