Challenge in the present revision is to the judgment and order dated 08.01.2011/10.01.2011 vide which the petitioner was convicted under Section 7 read with Section 16 of the Prevention of Food Adulteration Act, 1954 and also to the judgment dated 14.01.2013 passed by the Additional Sessions Judge, Panipat vide which the appeal filed by the present petitioner was also dismissed.
Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner has since died on 24.01.2022 and, thus, the present petition stands abated.
In view of the above, the present petition is disposed of as having been abated.
