The petitioner through instant petition under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India is seeking direction to respondents to count his service rendered as Special Police Officer for qualifying service for the purpose of pensionary/retiral benefits. 2.

Learned counsel for the petitioner, inter alia, contends that case of the petitioner is squarely covered by the judgment of this Court in Harbans Lal Vs. State of Punjab (CWP No.2371 of 2010). 3.

Mr. Aman Dhir, DAG, Punjab who on advance notice is present in Court submits that in terms of above stated judgment of this Court, the respondents authorities in the case of various officials have Anju Goel 2024.05.16 15:46 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document Chandigarh
