ARUN MONGA, J. (ORAL) This is a petition for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in case FIR No. 113 dated 08.06.2020, registered under Section 376 IPC at Police Station Division No.7, Ludhiana.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that pursuant to order dated 21.08.2020, the petitioner has joined the investigation and has fully cooperated in the same.

Learned State counsel under instructions from ASI Rashpal Singh submits that petitioner has joined the investigation and in view of the cooperation rendered by him, at this stage, his custodial interrogation is not required. He further submits that if during the course of investigation, at a later stage, his custody is required, appropriate application would be moved. 4.

In view of the above, since custodial interrogation of the petitioner is no more required and he has already joined the investigation and cooperated with the investigating officer, the petition is allowed. Order dated 21.08.2020 granting interim anticipatory bail to the petitioner is made absolute, subject to the petitioner's complying with provisions under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C.
