(ORAL) In the present writ petition, the prayer which is being made by the petitioners is that the service which they had rendered with the Punjab Women and Children Development and Welfare Corporation (PUNWAC) be counted as a qualifying service for the grant of pensionary benefits as well as for the protection of their pay which they were drawing in the (PUNWAC) when they were appointed in service with the Government of Punjab.
In support of their claim, petitioners are relying upon the order passed by this Court in CWP No.12010 of 2011 titled as 'Didar Singh Vs. State of Punjab and another', decided on 10.04.2015, wherein, the same benefit has already been extended to one Sh. Didar Singh by this Court.

CWP-13430-2019 -2Counsel for the petitioners further states that for the relief which has been sought in the present writ petition, petitioners have made the representations dated 23.01.2019 and 25.04.2019 (Annexures P-12 and P-13) respectively to the respondents, which are still pending consideration with the respondents and the petitioners will be satisfied, at this stage, in case a time bound direction is issued to the respondents to decide the said representations.
In view of the request made, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case or the claim being made by the petitioners, the respondents are directed to decide the representations dated 23.01.2019 and 25.04.2019 (Annexures P-12 and P-13) respectively by passing a speaking order within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order. In case after the decision, it is found that the petitioners are entitled for any monetary benefit, the same shall also be released to them within a period of next three months. Present writ petition stands disposed of.
