(ORAL ) The petitioner is seeking anticipatory bail in FIR No.168 dated 18.10.2018 under Sections 419, 420, 467, 468, 471 and 120-B IPC, registered at Police Station Urban Estate, Patiala. Learned counsel for the petitioner contends that, as per the allegations in the FIR, the petitioner along with his father and mother is alleged to have cheated large number of persons by preparing false documents like VISA and Passport for sending them abroad. Learned counsel for the petitioner further contends that the petitioner is not involved in the business of his father and the father and mother of the petitioner are already in custody. The petitioner is aged about 20 years and he has just completed his 10+2 and is running a dairy business after obtaining loan. CRM-M-49348-2018 A Coordinate Bench of this Court, by the order dated 5.11.2018, had directed the petitioner to appear before the Investigating Officer and join the investigation and in the event of his arrest, he was ordered to be released on ad-interim bail to the satisfaction of the Investigating/Arresting Officer, subject to the conditions envisaged under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C.

Learned State counsel, on instructions from ASI Sarabjit Singh, states that the petitioner has joined investigation and is not required for custodial interrogation.

In view of the submissions of learned counsel for the petitioner and keeping in view the fact that the petitioner has joined investigation, the order dated 5.11.2018 granting interim bail to the petitioner is made absolute. However, the petitioner shall abide by the conditions stipulated under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C. He shall also join investigation as and when called upon to do so. The petition stands disposed of.
