R.P. Nagrath, J. (Oral) Petitioner seeks bail under Section 439 Cr.P.C. in FIR No. 108 dated 13.09.2014 for offences under Sections 323, 324, 341, 506, 148, 149, 325, 326 and 307 of Indian Penal Code (IPC), registered at Police Station Ramdas, District Amritsar. Learned State counsel on instructions from SI Sukhwinder Singh submits that the petitioner has been attributed injury on the right eyebrow of the complainant Amitpal, which is simple in nature. It is further submitted that the petitioner is in custody since 12.01.2015 and the case is still at the investigation stage.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that Kewal Masih the co-accused in CRM-M-44404 of 2014, who was also attributed injury which was simple in nature, has since been granted regular bail.
