(ORAL) The petitioner, in the instant petition, under section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, has sought quashing of FIR No.57 dated 30.4.2011 registered under sections 420/120-B IPC at Police Station Gharinda, District Amritsar along with all subsequent proceedings arising therefrom, on the basis of compromise dated 31.1.2016 (Annexure P-2). In compliance of order dated 10.5.2016 passed by a co-ordinate Bench of this Court, report from the Judicial Magistrate 1st Class, Amritsar, vide forwarding letter no.141 dated 23.5.2016, has been received. According to the report submitted by Judicial Magistrate 1st Class, Amritsar, compromise arrived at between the parties is without any pressure, duress, inducement and threat from any kind from any corner voluntarily with their free will.

CRM-M-7153-2016 2 In view of the above report and compromise dated 31.1.2016 (Annexure P-2), arrived at between the parties, the instant petition is allowed. Consequently, FIR No.57 dated 30.4.2011 registered under sections 420/120-B IPC at Police Station Gharinda, District Amritsar, is quashed qua the petitioner only along with all consequential proceedings arising out therefrom.
