Whether the judgment should be reported in the Digest? ***** Kuldip Singh , J.(Oral) The prayer in the present petition filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C is for quashing of FIR No. 97 dated 3.10.2009 (Annexure P-1) registered under Sections 326/323/324/34/148/149 of IPC at Police Station Qadian, District Gurdaspur, along with all consequential proceedings arising therefrom on the basis of compromise (Annexure P-4).

Report of the learned Judicial Magistrate Ist Class, Batala has been received wherein it has been reported that the statements of the complainant and accused have been recorded and compromise has been effected between the parties. CRM-M-717-2016 -2been reported that the complainant has no objection if the present FIR registered against the petitioner is quashed. It is further reported that the said compromise is voluntary and is without any coercion, pressure or undue influence. Since, the parties have amicably settled their dispute, therefore, FIR No. 97 dated 3.10.2009 (Annexure P-1) registered under Sections 326/323/324/34/148/149 of IPC at Police Station Qadian, District Gurdaspur, along with all consequential proceedings arising therefrom stands quashed on the basis of compromise (Annexure P-4).
