The alleged detenue, whose name has been mentioned in Para No.3 of the petition, is stated to be working in a Brick Kiln Marka S.R. (Bharat), Brick Kiln, situated in the area of Village Chuggi, Police Station Jalalabad, District Moga (Punjab). The District Magistrate of the District is the competent authority as per Chapter-IV of Bonded Labour System (Abolition) Act, 1976 to deal with such like matters. The petitioner, therefore, is relegated to avail the remedy before the District Magistrate concerned.
