SANDEEP MOUDGIL, J (ORAL) This is a petition under 528 of BNSS for issuance of a direction to respondent No.2 to conduct fair and impartial enquiry in the complaint UID No.422463 (Annexure P.1) and take necessary action in accordance with law after registering FIR under appropriate Sections of BNS, 2023. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he will be satisfied in case a direction be issued to respondent No.2 to look into the UID No.422463 (Annexure P.1) and decide the same by passing a speaking order within a period of two weeks from today.

Without adverting to the merits of the case and in view of the statement made by learned counsel for the petitioner, respondent No.2-Sr. Superintendent of Police, at Punjab Police Head Quarter, Sector 9, Chandigarh is directed to look into the complaint UID No.422463 (Annexure P.1) and decide the same in accordance with law within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of the certified copy of this order. The order so passed in the said complaint shall be communicated to the petitioner within a period of one week thereafter. The present petition is disposed of in the aforesaid terms.
