(Oral) The present petition has been filed by the petitioner under Section 439 Cr.P.C. for grant of regular bail to him in case FIR No.181 dated 13.06.2018 registered under Sections 148, 149, 323, 379B, 506 IPC at Police Station Kunjpura, District Karnal during pendency of the trial. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that neither any specific role has been attributed to the petitioner nor any connecting evidence is there to connect him with commission of offence. Learned counsel further submits that even no recovery of old currency notes has been effected from the petitioner. Similarly situated co-accused of the petitioner, namely, Anil and Rohit have been released on regular bail by this Court vide separate orders dated 27.11.2018 passed in CRM-M Nos.41383 and 41483 of 2018, respectively. The petitioner is in custody since 28.06.2018. served by keeping the petitioner in custody. No other case of similar nature is pending against the petitioner.

Learned State counsel has not disputed the custody period as well as release of co-accused on regular bail and also the fact that no other case of similar nature is pending against the petitioner. Heard arguments of learned counsel for the petitioner as well as learned State counsel and have also perused the contents of the FIR and other documents available on the file.
