Jaswant Singh,J.(Oral) Prayer is for grant of anticipatory bail on behalf of petitioner no.2-Satnam Singh accused in case FIR No.16 dated 10.2.2016 under Sections 323,452, 506/34 IPC at PS Sherpur, District Sangrur (325 IPC added later on).

Petitioner, accompanied by his three other co-accused are alleged to have entered the house of injured-complainant-Balbir Singh aged 68 years and inflicted injuries upon his person. Petitioner Satnam Singh is attributed iron rod blow on the head of the complainant,which injury has been opined to be simple in nature. CRM-M 7256/2016 has joined investigation and as such his custodial interrogation is no longer required.

Learned counsel for the complainant opposes the prayer for grant of bail to petitioner.

Learned State counsel on instructions concedes that petitioner has joined investigation and his custodial interrogation is no longer required.

In view of the above, interim bail granted to petitioner no.2-Satnam Singh vide order dated 14.3.2016 passed by this Court is made absolute, while prayer for grant of anticipatory bail on behalf of accused petitioner no.1-Gurmeet Singh already stands withdrawn vide said order dated 14.3.2016.

Disposed of.
