RAMESHWAR SINGH MALIK, J Feeling aggrieved against the alleged inaction on the part of respondent authorities, petitioner has approached this court by way of instant petition, under Section 482 Cr.P.C., seeking direction to the official respondents no.1 to 4 to protect the life, liberty and property of the petitioner and her minor sons. She also seeks direction for taking an appropriate action against the accused in FIR No.185 dated 19.12.2014 under Sections 447, 448, 451, 149 IPC registered at Police Station Sadar, Moga.

Learned counsel for the petitioner, at the very outset, fairly states that before approaching this court, petitioner did not approach the senior police authorities, including the Senior Superintendent of Police, Moga-respondent no.2. He further submits that given an opportunity, petitioner shall approach the Senior Superintendent of Police, Moga-respondent no.2 within a period of two weeks GREESH SAHNI 2015.03.26 10:58 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document Chandigarh

Crl.Misc. No.M-8422 of 2015 from today by moving an appropriate representation and he may be directed to consider and decide the representation, within a reasonable time. Having heard learned counsel for the petitioner and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, lest it should prejudice the rights of either of the parties, Senior Superintendent of Police, Moga-respondent no.2 is directed that if the petitioner approaches him by moving an appropriate representation within a period of two weeks from today, he shall consider and decide the same at an early date, by passing an appropriate order thereon, strictly in accordance with law, but in any case within a period of four weeks from the date of representation from the petitioner.

With the above said observations made and directions issued, present petition stands disposed of.
