The prayer in the present petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India is for the issuance of directions to respondents No.2 to 4 to provide protection to the life, liberty and property of the petitioners from the illegal, coercive and high-handed acts of respondents No.5 to 8 with a further prayer that an FIR also be registered. 2.

The learned counsel for the petitioners contends that the private respondents are interfering in the peaceful possession of the petitioners despite there being a status quo order of a competent Civil Court. The petitioners are being threatened with false implication and even fake encounters. She prays that an FIR be registered and the representation dated 11.04.2026 (Annexure P-3) be acted upon. 3.

I have heard learned counsel for the petitioners. 4.

CRWP-4480-2026 -2at liberty to avail their remedies in accordance with law by way of filing of an appropriate contempt petition. As regards the registration of an FIR is concerned, the petitioners are at liberty to approach the Court of competent jurisdiction under Section 156 Cr.P.C. (Section 175 BNSS) or by way of filing a private complaint.

In view of the above, I find no merit in the present petition and the same stands dismissed.
