HARINDER SINGH SIDHU, J Petitioners have filed this petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. for quashing of DDR No.19 dated 09.07.2021 under Sections 323,324,148,149 IPC registered in FIR No.144 dated 07.07.2021 under Sections 323,324,148,149 IPC at P.S Civil Lines Batala, Police District Batala, District Gurdaspur and all other consequential proceedings arising out of the said FIR, as the matter stands amicably settled in terms of compromise deed (P.3).

Vide order dated 07.09.2021, the parties were directed to appear before the trial Court/Illaqa Magistrate on 22.11.2021 for getting their statements recorded with regard to the compromise and the learned Magistrate was directed to send a report about the genuineness and veracity of the compromise.

A report dated 13.12.2021 of learned JMIC, Batala has been received. As per the report, the parties had appeared before learned Magistrate and got recorded their statements regarding compromise. Learned Magistrate has stated that he is of the considered view that the MANOJ KUMAR 2022.03.17 19:33 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

CRM-M-28902 of 2021 #2# compromise between the parties is valid, genuine, voluntary and without any coercion or undue influence.

Accordingly, the present petition is allowed. DDR No.19 dated 09.07.2021 under Sections 323,324,148,149 IPC registered in FIR No.144 dated 07.07.2021 under Sections 323,324,148,149 IPC at P.S Civil Lines Batala, Police District Batala, District Gurdaspur along with all subsequent proceedings arising therefrom, are hereby quashed qua the petitioners.
