This is a petition filed under Section 439 Cr.P.C. seeking regular bail in a case registered against the petitioner vide FIR No. 45 dated 12.03.2014 under sections 18/61/85 of the NDPS Act at Police Station Salem Tabri, district Ludhiana. Learned State counsel submits that out of nine witnesses cited by the prosecution, three have been examined, three have been given up and rest three are likely to be examined on 16.05.2016. She, on instructions from ASI Didar Singh, who is present in court, submits that matter shall not be delayed in any manner.
In view of above, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he may be allowed to withdraw this petition at this stage.
