CORAM:
HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE H.S. MADAAN Present:- Mr. P.S. Dhaliwal, Advocate for the petitioners. Ms. Samina Dhir, DAG, Punjab.
Mr. Lakhwinder Singh, Advocate for respondent no. 2. *** As per report received from Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Barnala the cancellation report was submitted by the police on 24.7.2018 and not on 9.3.2013. It has been accepted on 27.7.2018 itself in view of the statement made by the complainant. It being so, the present petition seeking quashing of F.I.R. has become infructuous and is disposed of accordingly. However, the information supplied by Chief Judicial Magistrate, Barnala that the cancellation report was not submitted on 9.3.2013 and was rather submitted on 24.7.2018 appears to be factually wrong since in terms of the interim order dated 16.2.2013 passed by the then Chief Judicial Magistrate, Barnala there is mention of filing of cancellation report. Let it be explained by Chief PARVINDER SINGH 2018.09.06 17:00 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document Chandigarh
CRM-M No. 732 of 2016 Judicial Magistrate, Barnala as to why a wrong assertion in that regard had been made.
