(ORAL) Prayer in the present petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C., is for quashing of FIR No. 136 dated 24.10.2018 (Annexure P-1) registered under Sections 498-A, 406, 120-B IPC at Police Station Sirhali, District Tarn Taran and all other proceedings arising therefrom. At the very outset, learned counsel for the State submits that the present petition has been rendered infructuous as the cancellation report in the present FIR has been accepted by learned Judicial Magistrate 1st Class, Tarn Taran, vide order dated 15.09.2023. A copy of the said order handed over in Court today is taken on record. Learned counsel for the petitioners does not dispute the above said fact.
