ARVIND SINGH SANGWAN, J. (Oral) The petitioner prays for grant of anticipatory bail in FIR No.258 dated 24.10.2018, registered under Sections 186, 294, 332, 34, 353, 506 of the Indian Penal Code (in short 'IPC') at Police Station Agroha, District Hisar.
The operative part of the order dated 06.11.2018, vide which interim anticipatory bail has been granted to the petitioner, is reproduced as under:- "....Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is working as reporter with the daily newspaper "Dainik Bhaskar" and on 22.10.2018, he has gone to Village Khasa Mahajan for covering the investigation being conducted by the police pertaining to FIR No.255 dated 22.10.2018, registered under Sections 380, 454, 506 IPC, at Police Station Agroha, District Hisar. It is further submitted that presence of the petitioner was objected to by the Investigating Officer and on that MOHD YAKUB 2018.12.14 16:54 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document High Court, Chandigarh

Counsel for the petitioner has submitted that, in pursuance to the order dated 06.11.2018, the petitioner has appeared before the Investigating Officer and has joined the investigation. Counsel for the State, on instructions from SI Balwan Singh, has not disputed the aforesaid fact and submits that the petitioner is no more required for further investigation. In view of the above, this petition is allowed and the interim bail granted to the petitioner vide order dated 06.11.2018 is made absolute subject to the conditions envisaged under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C.
