There is alleged recovery of 50 grams of intoxicating powder.

It was averred that since the recovery was non-commercial petitioner was enlarged on bail. He continued to appear,however, due to his solitary non-apperance on 2.12.2015 his bail bonds were cancelled and NBWs issued. Hence the present petition.

Vide order dated 29.2.2016 while issuing notice of motion, it was directed that in the event of petitioner surrendering before the RAJINDER PRASHAD JOSHI 2016.03.15 11:30 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document High Court, Chandigarh.

CRM-M 7329/2016 trial court within 10 days he be released on interim bail to the satisfaction of learned trial court.

At the time of hearing today, it is submitted that pursuant to the order dated 29.2.2016 passed by this Court, petitioner surrendered before the trial court on 9.3.2016 and was released on interim bail. The aforesaid factual position is not disputed by the learned State counsel.

In this view of the matter, interim bail granted by the trial court vide order dated 9.3.2016, pursuant to the directions of this Court issued on 29.2.2016, is made absolute.

Disposed of.
