Present petition has been fled under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, inter-alia, for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to consider the case of the petitioner for promotion to the post of Lecturer, from the date her juniors were promoted.

Learned counsel, on instructions from the petitioner, submits that since the grievance of the petitioner has been redressed, therefore, the present petition is rendered infructuous.
