MANJARI NEHRU KAUL, J. (ORAL) Petitioner is seeking the concession of anticipatory bail under Section 438 of the Cr.P.C. in case FIR No.61 dated 27.03.2024 under Sections 381, 420, 408 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860, registered at Police Station Sector 31, Chandigarh.

Vide order dated 20.05.2024, the petitioner had been granted interim anticipatory bail with direction to join investigation and the relevant part of the said order reads as under:- "Learned counsel for the petitioner, inter alia, contends that all payments/money transactions were made online into the account of his employer, so there was no question of the petitioner getting any payments deposited into his accounts. Learned counsel submits that the petitioner is also being implicated in the instant case on the basis of some confession made to the police during inquiry, which is inadmissible." 3.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in compliance of order dated 20.05.2024, the petitioner has joined PUNEET SACHDEVA 2024.11.14 14:33 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document Chandigarh

Learned standing counsel does not dispute that in compliance of order dated 20.05.2024, the petitioner has joined investigation and his custodial interrogation is not required. However, he submits that the petitioner be directed to join investigation in future, in case required.

In view of the above, the petition is allowed and interim order dated 20.05.2024, is made absolute subject to the conditions laid down in Section 438(2) Cr.P.C./482(2) BNSS.
