*** The case has been taken up through Video Conferencing. After arguing for some time, learned counsel for the petitioner states that he be permitted to withdraw the present petition, however, a direction be issued to the trial Court to conclude the trial expeditiously. The trial Court is directed to conclude the trial expeditiously by giving short adjournments and if either of the party seeks adjournment the same is to be granted for justifiable reason only which is to be recorded in writing. The State shall of course cause appearance of PWs in the Court on the date(s) fixed by the trial Court. The accused shall not seek any unnecessary adjournment in the trial. The trial Court is to make earnest efforts to conclude the trial within three months from the date of receipt of copy of order there. With such observations, the present petition is dismissed as withdrawn.
A copy of this order be sent to the trial Court through District and Sessions Judge concerned.
