(ORAL) Through this petition, the petitioner seeks anticipatory bail in case bearing FIR No.188 dated 24.08.2022, registered under Section 21 of the NDPS Act and Section 29 of the NDPS Act (added later on), at Police Station City Moga, District Moga.
Status report by way of an affidavit dated 29.08.2023 of the Deputy Superintendent of Police (City), Moga, District Moga, filed on behalf of the respondent-State, in the Court, is taken on record. Copy thereof has been supplied to the learned counsel opposite. Vide order dated 17.05.2023 passed by a Coordinate Bench of this Court, the petitioner had been granted ad interim pre-arrest bail and directed to join the investigation.

CRM-M-25034-2023 (O&M) -2Learned State counsel, on instructions from ASI Satnam Singh, submits that the petitioner has joined the investigation and is now not required for any further investigation.
In view of the above, without commenting on the merits of the case, the present petition is allowed and the order dated 17.05.2023 granting interim bail to the petitioner, is made absolute, subject to the conditions laid down in Section 438 (2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
