Petitioners have filed this petition under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 for issuance of directions to respondents No. 1 to 4 to protect their life and liberty from the hands of respondents No. 5 and 6.

Learned counsel for the petitioners has submitted that marriage of the petitioners was solemnized on 8.1.2015. Certificate (Annexure P-4) in this regard has been issued by Pracheen Shiv Mandir, Panchkula (M.D.C.). Photographs of marriage ceremony are annexed as Annexure P-3. He has further submitted that petitioners have moved a representation to Commissioner of Police, Jalandharrespondent No. 2 (Annexure P-5) but no action has been taken so far.
