NAMIT KUMAR J. (Oral) The instant petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking a writ of mandamus for directing the respondents to grant the benefit of 02 increments on account of acquiring the qualification of B.A. The petitioner retired from service on attaining the age of superannuation on 31.05.2004 and while he was in service, no such grievance was ever raised and after 20 years of his retirement, the said benefit is being claimed, which is hopelessly time-barred. At this stage, learned counsel for the petitioner wishes to withdraw the present petition.

Dismissed as withdrawn.
