R.P. Nagrath, J. (Oral) Petitioner has filed the instant petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. seeking direction to learned trial Court in FIR No. 54 dated 20.04.2011 for offence under Sections 498-A, 406, 506 read with Section 34 of Indian Penal Code (IPC), registered at Police Station Sadar, Pathankot, District Pathankot, to decide the matter within six months.

Learned State counsel has filed the reply/affidavit of Deputy Superintendent of Police, City, Pathankot and the same is taken on record.

Report from the trial Court has been received that out of 13 witnesses 5 have already been examined.

In view of the above, the instant petition is disposed of with a direction to the trial Court to decide the case expeditiously but preferably within a period of six months from the next date already fixed.

The prosecution through learned State counsel is also directed to ensure that all the witnesses are produced on the date fixed before the trial Court.
