The jurisdiction of this Court has been invoked under Section 438 of Cr.P.C., for grant of anticipatory bail in case FIR No.33 dated 06.04.2024 registered for offences punishable under Sections 458, 324, 323, 148, 149 and 506 of the IPC, 1860 at Police Station Sangat, District Bathinda and later on offences under Section 326, 325 IPC were added vide G.D. No.30 dated 15.04.2024 and offence under Section 459 IPC was added vide G.D. No.16 dated 17.04.2024.

Counsel for the petitioner asserts that the attribution qua the present petitioner is only causing injuries with a dang which in medical opinion are declared as grievous in nature and the same are not on the vital organs of the victim. The same is over the right eye-brow. Injury No.1 is attributed to the co-accused Butta Ram and injury No.7 is attributed to co-accused Lakhvir Singh @ Lakha Singh.
