(ORAL) The only prayer made by the petitioners in the present petition is for a direction to the respondent-authorities to consider and decide their representation/legal notice dated 28.06.2021 (Annexure P-7), wherein they have requested the authorities to inform them of the status of the inquiry initiated against them and to complete the same. Ms. Puneeta Sethi, learned counsel appearing for the respondents on advance copy submits that the inquiry is in progress and the authorities would respond to the aforesaid representation/legal notice dated 28.06.2021 (Annexure P-7) moved by the petitioners and proceed further in the matter in accordance with law.

In view of the aforesaid statement made by learned counsel for the respondents, we do not find any reason to entertain the present petition which is disposed of. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the case and, therefore, the authorities would be at liberty to examine the matter keeping all facts and facets into consideration and thereafter accept or reject the same in accordance with law.
