Sukhwant Singh v. Harjinder Kaur And ANR
CRM-M 8605/2015
IN THE HIGH COURT OF PUNJAB & HARYANA
AT CHANDIGARH Date of decision:24.08.2015.
Sukhwant Singh .............Petitioner v.
Harjinder Kaur and another .............Respondents CORAM: HON'BLE MR.JUSTICE JASWANT SINGH Present:- Mr. KS Sodhi,Advocate for the petitioner Jaswant Singh,J.(Oral) Petitioner-husband is invoking jurisdiction under Section 482 Cr.PC for quashing of order dated 14.10.2014 (P-15) passed by learned Additional Sessions Judge, Amritsar whereby in the pending execution petition filed by the wife regarding arrears of maintenance granted under Section 125 Cr.PC, learned revisional court has directed the CJM to proceed with the execution petition in accordance with law with liberty to the husband to claim adjustment of a lump-sum amount of Rs.2 lacs paid by him to the wife during the proceedings under Section 13-B of the Hindu Marriage Act,1955, which ultimately failed at the stage of second motion.
At the time of hearing, learned counsel very fairly concedes that the husband in compliance of the order dated 18.3.2015 passed by this Court has not deposited the amount of Rs.15,000/- towards the litigation expenses for the wife. Even on merits he has nothing much to say.
Dismissed.
