The present writ petition has been filed under Article 226/227 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a writ of certiorari for setting aside the order dated 23.12.2019, whereby the petitioner has been superannuated from the service on attaining the age of 60 years, which is claimed to be in violation of the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016. The writ petitioner, in the present writ petition, claims that he is entitled to extension in service.

Learned counsel for the petitioner has failed to draw attention of this Court to any statutory provision or instructions, giving right to the person suffering from disability for extension in the service, after attaining the age of superannuation.
