This is a petition filed under Section 438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure seeking pre-arrest bail in a case registered against the petitioner vide FIR No. 11 dated 12.02.2015 under Section 379 IPC at Police Station Cantt Jalandhar. Learned counsel for the State (on instructions from ASI Jaswant Singh, who is present in court) submits that pursuant to order dated March 18, 2015, petitioner has joined the investigation and is no longer required for custodial interrogation. In view of the above, order dated March 18, 2015 is hereby made absolute subject to the conditions as envisaged under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C.
