The present petition has been filed under Articles 226/227 of Constitution of India seeking direction to the respondent authorities to protect the life and liberty of the petitioner and his family members at the hands of respondent Nos.2 and 3.

After arguing for some time, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner would be contended and satisfied in case his representation dated 17.04.2025 (Annexure P-7) be decided in a time bound manner. 3.

On the asking of the Court, Mr. Kamalpreet Bawa, DAG, Punjab, accepts notice on behalf of the respondent-State.

In view of the above limited prayer made and without commenting upon the merits of the case, the respondent No.2-Senior Superintendent of Police, Kapurthala is directed to decide the representation dated 17.04.2025 (Annexure P-7) within a period of 15 days by passing a speaking order in accordance with law.
