***** HARI PAL VERMA, J. (Oral) Prayer in the present petition filed under Section 438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 is for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in case FIR No.74 dated 16.04.2019 under Sections 406, 498-A, 506 IPC read with Section 34 IPC registered at Women Police Station Panipat.

It being a matrimonial dispute, vide order dated 08.11.2019, the parties were directed to appear before the Mediation and Conciliation Centre of this Court and in the meanwhile, it was directed that no coercive means be adopted against the petitioner.

Criminal Misc. No. M-22840 of 2019 -2Learned counsel for the petitioner states that pursuant to order dated 08.11.2019, the parties have appeared before Mediation and Conciliation Centre and the matter has been settled amicably and a settlement/agreement dated 23.01.2020 has been reduced into writing. He further submits that the petitioner has also filed a petition for quashing of the FIR in question on the basis of compromise. This fact has not been disputed by learned counsel for the complainant.

In view of the aforesaid, the present petition is allowed and the interim order dated 08.11.2019, whereby this Court had restrained the respondents from adopting any coercive means, is made absolute. In case the petitioner will be required in the case in any manner, a clear 15 days notice be given to him.
