***** JASPAL SINGH, J Through instant petition preferred under Section 439 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, the petitioner has sought interim bail for 15 days to attend the marriage of his younger sister, in case bearing FIR No.636, dated 02.08.2016, under Sections 147, 148, 149 and 302 IPC (later added Sections 120-B and 216 IPC), Police Station Cam Palwal. 2.

The contention of learned counsel for the petitioner is that the marriage of the younger sister of the petitioner is scheduled for 06.02.2018 and petitioner being the brother, is required to be present and participate in the marriage of his sister. The petitioner undertakes to abide by all the terms and conditions imposed by this Court, in case, he is granted the concession of interim bail.

CRM-M-4985-2018 (O&M) --2-- learned counsel for the petitioner but finds no merit to grant interim bail particularly, when the petitioner is accused of a serious offence i.e. the commission of murder. Moreover, the instant petition has been come up for hearing at about 3:00 p.m. and the marriage is also stated to be scheduled for today i.e. 06.02.2018. It is too difficult to get the verification of the various averments made in the petition conducted in a short span of time. Moreover, perusal of invitation card, photocopy of which is available on file, suggests that there are number of other relations, who otherwise can look after and make arrangements for the marriage besides the parents of the petitioner. 4.
