(Oral) This is a petition filed under Section 438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure seeking pre-arrest bail in a case registered against the petitioner vide FIR No.195 dated 22.09.2017 under Sections 341, 324, 34 IPC (Section 326 IPC added later on) at Police Station Maur, Distgrict Bathinda.
Learned counsel for the State on instructions from ASI Hoshiar Singh submits that pursuant to order dated December 21, 2017, petitioner has joined investigation and is no longer required for custodial interrogation. In view of the above, order dated December 21, 2017, is hereby made absolute subject to the conditions envisaged under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C.
