(Oral) The petitioner has approached this Court for grant of anticipatory bail in case having FIR No.62 dated 26.4.2022 registered under Section 379 IPC and Section 21 of Mines and Minerals (Development and Regulation) Act, 1957 at Police Station Verowal, District Tarn Taran. Today the counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has joined investigation with the police in the light of the previous order of interim bail passed by the Coordinate Bench of this Court. ( 2 ) CRM-M-25987-2022 The State counsel on instructions from ASI Bhupinder Singh has not disputed the aforesaid fact and further submits that the petitioner is not required by the police for any further investigation. As per the allegations recorded in the FIR, one truck loaded with sand was recovered from the spot, however, its driver ran away from there and as has been alleged in the FIR, the said driver was present petitioner-Mandeep Singh.
In view of the above, as the recovery has already been effected in the present case and the petitioner, who has joined the investigation is not now required by the police, the present petition is allowed and order dated 8.6.2022 is hereby made absolute.
