ARVIND SINGH SANGWAN J. (Oral) Prayer in this writ petition is for issuance of directions to respondents No.1 to 3 to protect the life and liberty of the petitioners at the hands of respondents No.4 to 7 at the petitioners intends to marry each other but are facing threats from the family members of petitioner No.1.

Counsel for the petitioners, at the very outset, submits that he may be permitted to withdraw this petition qua petitioner No.2 - Jasveer Singh.

Ordered accordingly.

Counsel for the petitioners on behalf of petitioner No.1 submits that she has left her home as her parents want to solemnize her marriage forcibly and she is facing threat to her life and liberty. Accordingly, this petition is disposed of with a direction to petitioner No.1 to approach the Senior Superintendent of Police, Bathinda by filing a representation, which will be decided by him, after looking into the threat perception to the life and liberty of petitioner No.1.

Disposed of.
