Prayer in this petition is for protecting the life and liberty of the petitioner who apprehends danger at the hands of respondents No.4 to 9. Respondent No.4 is the petitioner's husband and respondents No.5 to 9 are respondent No.4's relatives. A complainat/representation dated 06.02.2017 (Annexure P1) is stated to have been submitted before respondent No.2 i.e., the Commissioner of Police, Amritsar.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that, at this stage, the petitioner would be satisfied in case respondent No.2 is directed to look into the matter and take necessary action.

Having heard learned counsel for the petitioner and keeping in view the facts and circumstances of the case but without commenting on the merits of the case, this petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent Omkar Singh 2017.02.16 11:42 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document Chandigarh
