At the outset, learned counsel for the petitioner, submits that he would be satisfied if a direction is issued to the respondents to decide the legal notice dated 02.03.2020 (Annexure P-9) submitted by the petitioner, in view of the judgment of this Court dated 31.08.2010 in CWP No.2371 of 2010 titled as Harbans Lal vs. State of Punjab and others. Notice of motion.

On the asking of the Court, Ms. Ambika Bedi, Assistant Advocate General, Punjab has put in appearance through video conferencing and accepts notice on behalf of all the respondents. Learned State counsel has no objection if the present writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents to decide the legal notice - Annexure P-9.
