Naresh Kumar Sanghi, J.(Oral) Prayer in this petition, filed under Section 439, Cr.P.C., is for grant of interim bail to the petitioner, Lachhman Singh, for six months for getting the treatment for his ailing heart. Learned counsel contends that the petitioner was arrested on 26.07.2014 and after knowing that he was suffering from heart ailment, the jail authorities produced him before the Medical Officer, Medical College, Faridkot, in the month of November on different dates. The Doctor had advised the jail authorities to produce the petitioner on a particular date for MEENU 2015.01.17 12:27 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document chandigarh
CRM-M-891-2015 (O&M) -2laboratory tests but he (the petitioner) was not produced. He further contends that the condition of the petitioner might deteriorate for want of proper treatment, which the jail authorities have failed to provide.
Learned counsel for the State, on instructions from ASI Jagsir Singh of Police Station, Kot Ise Khan, District Moga, submits that he would direct the concerned jail Superintendent that the petitioner be produced before the Doctor as per medical advice and proper treatment be administered to him.
In view of the above, the learned counsel for the petitioner does not press this petition, at this stage. Ordered accordingly.
