(ORAL) Through the second petition, the petitioner seeks anticipatory bail in case bearing FIR No.218 dated 28.08.2019, registered under Sections 420, 465, 468, 471 and 120-B IPC, at Police Station City Sri Muktsar Sahib, District Sir Muktsar Sahib, the first petition having been dismissed as withdrawn on 01.09.2021.

Vide order dated 19.05.2023 passed by this Court, the petitioner had been granted ad interim pre-arrest bail and directed to join the investigation. The petitioner was further directed to deposit a demand draft of Rs.1,00,000/- with the Investigating Officer. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that pursuant to the aforesaid order, the petitioner has joined the investigation and also deposited a sum of Rs.1,00,000/- by way of a demand draft bearing No.789544 dated 16.05.2023 drawn on Punjab and Sind Bank, with the Investigating Officer.

CRM-M-25508-2023 (O&M) -2Learned State counsel, on instructions from SI Laljeet Singh, submits that the petitioner has joined the investigation and is now not required for any further investigation and has also deposited the demand draft to the tune of Rs.1,00,000/- In view of the above, without commenting on the merits of the case, the present petition is allowed and the order dated 19.05.2023. granting interim bail to the petitioner, is made absolute, subject to the conditions laid down in Section 438 (2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
