**** RAMESHWAR SINGH MALIK J. (ORAL) Petitioner has approached this Court, by way of instant petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. seeking direction to respondent No.2 for protection of life and liberty of the petitioner at the hands of private respondents No. 3 to 5.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that when the grievance of the petitioner was not being redressed by the respondent authorities, he finally approached the Senior Superintendent of Police, Patiala by way of representation dated Annexure P-4, which was sent by way of registered post on 18.2.2015, but the same is also pending decision. He further submits that the petitioner will be satisfied in case the Senior Superintendent of Police, Patiala is directed to consider and decide his representation, within a reasonable time. Criminal Misc. M-8917 of 2015 Having heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, lest it should prejudice the rights of either of the parties, the Senior Superintendent of Police, Patiala is directed to look into the matter, consider the grievance of the petitioner, including the threat perception, raised vide his representation dated 18.2.2015 (Annexure P-4) and take an early decision thereon, by passing an appropriate order, strictly in accordance with law, but in any case within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order.

With the abovesaid observations made and directions issued, present petition stands disposed of.
