RAMENDRA JAIN, J. (ORAL) Prayer in the instant petition under Section 439 Cr.P.C. has been made for grant of regular bail to petitioner Jagjit Singh alias Jaggi in a case arising from FIR No.56 dated 07.09.2018 registered under Section 22 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances, 1985 at Police Station City-1, Sangrur, District Sangrur.
According to the prosecution, 10,000 tablets of Tramadol Hydrochloride make Kammol-100 SR of 100 mg were recovered from the conscious possession of the petitioner.
Learned counsel for the petitioner inter alia contends that FSL report has not yet been received. Therefore, it cannot be said at this stage that alleged recovery was a narcotic substance. Petitioner is in custody since 07.09.2018.
In view of above, but without expressing any opinion on the RAVINDER SINGH 2018.11.21 14:03 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document merits of the case, the petitioner is granted interim bail subject to furnishing
-2CRM-M-49991 of 2018 personal bonds and two sureties of ` 2.00 lakh each, to the satisfaction of Special Court concerned only till receipt of the FSL report. The petition stands disposed of accordingly.
