(ORAL) Petitioners seek protection of their life and liberty as they apprehend danger at the hands of respondent No. 4 and other relatives because they have solemnised marriage on 19.02.2022 against the wishes of said respondent.

Learned counsel for the petitioners identifies the petitioners on the basis of documents attached. It is contended that petitioners are major, their dates of birth being 01.02.1991 and 01.01.1991, respectively. Aadhar cards of both the petitioners are appended with the petition as Annexures P1& P2, respectively. Marriage certificate is on record as Annexures P3. It is submitted that there is no impediment to the marriage of the petitioners. Petitioners, it is stated, submitted representation (P4) to respondent No.2 i.e., the Senior Superintendent of Police, Mansa, for redressal of their grievance but no action has been taken thereon. Notice of motion to respondents No.1 to 3.
