The petitioners have joined the investigation, as per the instructions of HC Baldev Singh, imparted to the learned State counsel. So far as the petitioners are concerned, they are brother, father and uncle of Sumanpreet Kaur , whose husband Jagdeep Singh has committed suicide. Said Jagdeep Singh had allegedly, for the reason that the petitioners had demanded his share of the property,to be registered in the name of Sumanpreet Kaur, consumed insecticide. It will certainly be a debatable issue during trial whether the petitioners had any intention or that they have indulged in abetment, which was responsible for the suicide by Jagdeep Singh. It does not appear to be a case of custodial interrogation. The petition is allowed. Interim order dated 3.3.2016 is hereby made absolute subject to all the conditions u/s 438(2) Cr.P.C.
