In the present writ petition, the petitioner has challenged the order dated 30.01.2024 (Annexure P-3) passed by respondent No.3, whereby, the supply at the petitioner's ration depot has been suspended. The petitioner has also prayed for setting aside the order dated 04.02.2025 (Annexure P-5) passed by respondent No.2, vide which, appeal filed by the petitioner against the abovesaid order has also been dismissed. 2.
Learned State counsel has supplied a copy of the order dated 17.04.2026 passed by the District Food, Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs Controller, Hisar in Court today and the same is taken on record as Mark-X. He submits that as per abovesaid order dated 17.04.2026, supply of the petitioner's ration depot has been restored. Learned counsel submits that taking into consideration the abovesaid fact, the present writ petition has rendered infructuous and as such, the same may be disposed of. A copy of the order dated 17.04.2026 has also been supplied to learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner in Court today. 4.
In light of the above statement given by the learned State counsel, the present writ petition is disposed of as having been rendered infructuous. However, liberty is granted to the petitioner to file an application for revival of the writ petition, if any cause still survives. 5.
