Mr. Dhruv Dahiya, IPS, Senior Superintendent of Police, Amritsar (Rural) has appeared through Video Conferencing. He has stated that offence under Section 307 IPC has since been added in the F.I.R and necessary action against the erring police officer would be taken. He has further contended that he would ensure that the investigation is conducted by some responsible police officer.
